Estimates & Pricing 6
What happens at the free estimate?
We walk through the project with you, measure, note any repairs and talk through colors and sheens. Choose an in-home visit (about 30 minutes) or a quick video call. You'll get a fixed, itemized price, usually within one business day.
Do I need to be home for the estimate?
For an in-home visit, it's best if you're there so we can walk the project together and answer your questions. If that's hard to arrange, a video call works too.
How much does it cost to paint?
Every home is different, so we price each project after seeing it. Size, ceiling height, surface condition, prep and repairs, trim and doors, the number of colors and the paint line all affect the price. Your estimate is fixed and itemized, with no surprises.
Is there a minimum project size?
No. We paint everything from a single room or front door to a whole home, inside and out.
Do I need to buy the paint?
No. We supply premium Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore paints and all the materials for the job. If you've already chosen a paint, we're happy to use it.
Why do painting quotes vary so much?
Most of the difference comes from prep, the number of coats and the quality of the paint. Our itemized estimate shows exactly what's included, so you can compare quotes fairly.
Scheduling & Timeline 4
How soon can my project start?
We'll give you a start date with your estimate. Spring and summer fill up fastest, so book early for exterior work.
How long does a project take?
Most projects are done in 2–4 days. A single room usually takes about a day, and kitchen cabinets take about a week because each coat needs time to dry.
Who runs my project?
A dedicated project manager is your point of contact from your estimate to the final walkthrough.
Do I need to be home while you paint?
For interiors, most families stay home; we work room by room and keep walkways clear. For exteriors, you don't need to be home. We just need access to an outdoor water spigot and an outlet.

What painting services do you offer?
Interior painting, exterior painting and cabinet painting for homes across Little Rock and Pulaski County.
Can you help me choose colors?
Yes. We bring samples to your estimate and can paint test swatches so you see the color in your own light before deciding.
What paint do you use?
Premium Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore paints, matched to each surface: durable finishes for trim and cabinets, and exterior paints made to stand up to Arkansas sun and humidity.
What is your service area?
Little Rock, North Little Rock, Maumelle, Sherwood, Jacksonville, Mabelvale, Benton, Bryant, Conway, Cabot and all of Pulaski County. Not sure if you're in our area? Enter your ZIP code when you book and we'll let you know.
Do you clean up after yourselves?
Yes. Work areas are cleaned at the end of every day, and we leave your home as clean as we found it.
Older Homes & Repairs 3
Do you work on older homes with lead paint?
Yes. FirstPro Painting is EPA Lead-Safe Certified. Homes built before 1978 may contain lead paint, so we follow EPA lead-safe work practices: containing the work area, using careful prep methods and cleaning up thoroughly.
What repairs do you do before painting?
Patching holes and cracks, caulking gaps and making small wood repairs are part of our prep. If we find bigger damage, we'll show you and quote it before going further.
What happens if you find damage after the project starts?
We stop, show you what we found and explain your options and the cost before doing any extra work.
Warranty & After 2
How does your warranty work?
Every project is backed by our 2-year written warranty. If paint we applied peels or blisters because of our prep or application, we come back and fix it at no cost to you.
