A covered repair isn't finished until you're happy with it. That's the standard our crews are held to.
2 Years of Coverage
For 24 months after we finish, we repair peeling and blistering caused by our prep or application, at no cost to you.
Please Note: Horizontal Surfaces Aren't Covered
Decks, railings, stairs, porch floors, roofs, gutters and any surface where water or snow can sit aren't covered under our standard warranty. Standing moisture breaks down any coating, no matter how well it's prepped and applied.
What the Warranty Covers
Covered
- Peeling paint caused by inadequate surface preparation
- Blistering paint caused by improper application
- Repairs to the specific areas where the peeling or blistering happened
- Labor and materials for covered repairs, at no cost to you
Not Covered
- Horizontal surfaces where water collects: decks, railings, stairs, porch floors, roofs and gutters
- Work where the homeowner supplied the paint
- Problems caused by moisture, leaks or structural movement
- Cracking or peeling of older paint layers underneath our work
- Normal fading, chalking and wear
- Mildew, mold and other environmental conditions
- Damage from impacts, harsh cleaners or pressure washing
- Bleeding knots, rust stains and wood tannins

What does the FirstPro warranty cover?
Peeling and blistering of the paint we applied, when it's caused by our surface preparation or application, within 2 years of your project's completion date.
How long is the warranty valid?
2 years from the date your project was completed.
Are decks, railings and stairs covered?
No. Horizontal surfaces where water or snow can sit, like decks, railings, stairs, porch floors and gutters, aren't covered, because standing moisture breaks down any coating.

Is there a cost for warranty repairs?
Covered repairs are done at no cost to you.
When will my repair be done?
After we review your request, we'll schedule the repair at a time that works for you. Exterior repairs need dry weather, so timing can depend on the season.
Do I need to send photos?
Photos help us arrive prepared. We'll ask you to text or email them when we follow up on your request.
